Hello, let's learn a little more about Implant Placement

The procedure to place a dental implant takes 30-60 minutes for one implant and only 2-3 hours for multiple implants.  The number of appointments and time required vary from patient to patient.  Dr. Amid will bring great precision and attention to the details of your case.

A local anesthetic will be administered to numb the area where the dental implant will be placed.  When you’re comfortable, Dr. Amid makes a small incision in the gum tissue to reveal the bone and creates space using special instruments. Different drill sizes are used throughout the procedure until desired implant size is achieved.  Dr. Amid gently inserts the titanium implant and tops it with a healing abutment.
